Surf Check 12-13-2025

Waves: 1 - 2 Feet
Wind: South
Moderate South winds messing the waves up.  Bad for surfing but may be good for a DW Queens run?!?

The Top Hammahs do a Reverse DW from Cromz to HK. That's MEEEEAAAN!!!

I'm staying out of the water for a few days to let my eye heal up.

Any takers?

Stay home tomorrow!
Marathon Sunday!

======================================================

Today is 'Pour Day' for the UH Manoa Civil Engineers. That means they're making their Concrete Canoe for the competition early next year. Dawn has been in charge of Pour Day in the past but is now just helping out. I find what they do very cool and interesting!

Many hands make light work.

While they call it Pour Day, the concrete is more of a paste than a liquid. They form and press the concrete into the canoe mold. This year they colored the concrete red as part of their design.

There's many steps and materials used. I think these braddahs are clamping a black rubber piece that helps them measure the thickness of the concrete.

At their request, we made 2 pots of Chili for their lunch!
Chili, rice, cheese, onions, jalapenos and Tabasco!
They cleaned us out! Dora and I are happy to help them out!
We've been making chili for them for a couple of years now, we're glad they appreciate it!

We're ready for them on the next Pour Day!
