Congratulations Dawn 05-28-2026

Two weeks ago Dawn graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

Dawn has been very diligent in her studies and has worked hard for this. She has said since Middle School that she has an interest in Civil Engineering and to see her work for it and achieve it is incredible!

Dora and I are over the moon proud of her and are excited to see her move forward in this career. Dawn already has accepted a job with a local Engineering firm and will start work in August 2026. Until then, we will travel to Korea next month, then Dawn goes to Japan with her friends and we'll squeeze in a trip to Las Vegas when she returns!

The night before the graduation, the College of Engineering has a ceremony called Convocation.
Here's Dawn with a few her close Engineering crew,

Proud Mom and Dad!

Graduation day, right after the ceremony on the Les Murakami field.
Dawn's sashes include UH Manoa, College of Engineering, ASCE(American Society of Civil Engineers) and Chi Epsilon(the Civil Engineering Honor Society).

How's my sign?  Nice huh?!?

With her Good tennis friends from Kalani High School.

With her boyfriend Aaryk.

Lei overload!!!

Congratulations Dawn!!!!!
You did it!!!
